Maintenance Engineer – Double Days | Monday-Friday

A well-established food manufacturer in Malton is looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join its growing engineering team on a double days shift pattern.
This is a hands‑on role within a busy manufacturing environment, where you’ll play a key part in keeping production running smoothly and improving equipment reliability.
What you’ll be doing
- Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across the site
- Electrical and mechanical fault finding
- Completing PPMs and reducing unplanned downtime
- Supporting continuous improvement and reliability projects
- Working closely with production to keep machinery running efficiently
- Ensuring all maintenance work is completed safely and to a high standard
What we’re looking for
You’ll ideally have an NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, HNC or equivalent engineering qualification, with strong hands‑on experience in a manufacturing environment.
We’re open to both electrically and mechanically biased engineers, provided you have a good understanding of the wider engineering discipline.
Food/FMCG experience would be beneficial, but isn’t essential.
