Responsibilities:
- Carry out fabrication repairs of various commercial buildings within the large site.
- Work independently, carrying out fabric building repairs and installation work without detailed supervision, in accordance with legislation.
- Accurately complete all site records and forms, e.g., job packs, risk assessments.
- Coordinate with others on site to ensure works are completed within timescales set.
- Ensure work activities are carried out safely and to high quality.
- Provide practical solutions to building repairs and installation work.
- Meet deadlines for planned and reactive maintenance works.
- Recognise and communicate with the client and line manager by recording any changes or workplace events that may delay or disrupt the job.
- Identify, procure and progress material requisitions and follow up deliveries if delegated.
Hours: Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM / 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM.
Pay: £22.00 per hour (CIS).
Required Qualifications / Experience:
- Experience working as a Fabric Maintenance Engineer or Maintenance Technician.
- Recognised trade/engineering NVQ or City & Guilds qualification.
