Based: Bottesford

Salary: Up to £41,500 per annum + Great Benefits

Hours: Monday to Friday – Alternating Earlies (06:00 – 14:00) and Lates (14:00 – 22:00)

What you’ll do:

  • Manage the highly specialised equipment in our factories.
  • Fix breakdowns and carry out planned maintenance.
  • Develop improvements and support the strategy of investment and installation of new equipment.
  • React to breakdowns and fix problems.
  • Help with capital project installations.
  • Ensure equipment reliability and implement improvements.

What are we looking for?

  • Ideally Apprentice trained multi-skilled Engineer / Electrical Engineer / Electrician – or experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Health & Safety awareness.
  • Adaptable/flexible to meet requirements and demands of the business and seasonal fluctuations.
  • Ability to work on own initiative & self-motivated.
  • Industrious and able to work under pressure.
  • Good level of accuracy and numeracy when completing records.

  • Identify and implement improvement projects.
  • Use RCA techniques to prevent recurring issues.

  • Carry out effective PPMs and review PPMs to ensure they are effective and suitable.

  • Ensure effective communication with Engineering Team stakeholders and production stakeholders.
  • Actively update shift lead on workload.
  • Complete necessary reports and paperwork for work completed.
  • Complete jobs on the Agility system ensuring that all relevant information is included to support with similar future problems and RCAs etc.
