We are seeking a motivated Maintenance Engineer who is looking to develop their career within a manufacturing environment.

This role provides the opportunity to gain hands‑on experience maintaining injection moulding machinery and associated ancillary equipment, while supporting efficient production operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing equipment faults, carrying out preventative maintenance, and ensuring machinery operates safely and reliably with minimal disruption to production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on injection moulding machines and ancillary equipment.
  • Diagnose faults and complete repairs in a safe, efficient, and cost‑effective manner.
  • Minimise production downtime by responding promptly to maintenance requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with production teams to support smooth manufacturing operations.
  • Complete maintenance records, risk assessments, and required documentation accurately.
  • Follow company procedures, health and safety policies, and safe working practices at all times.
  • Identify opportunities for improving equipment reliability and maintenance processes.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Relevant engineering qualification, such as a City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent in electrical, mechanical, or general engineering.
  • Previous experience working in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Good understanding of mechanical and/or electrical maintenance principles.
  • Strong awareness of health and safety requirements.
  • Good spoken and written English communication skills.

Applicants must live within approximately a 30‑minute commute of the workplace.
