The Role
The successful candidates will be responsible for all aspects of day‑to‑day electrical and mechanical engineering and maintenance activities, ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards and maximizing machine efficiencies. The ideal candidates will come from an electrical or a mechanical engineering background and should be able to work on their own initiative, be a time‑served engineer but multi‑skilled and have fast moving manufacturing experience.
You will be a hands‑on Engineer who will support maintenance and reliability within a fast‑paced non‑ferrous foundry. The role involves working on a range of plant equipment, including furnaces, casting machines, control systems, and site electrical infrastructure. There is a huge amount of training on offer, so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably.
