The Opportunity - Maintenance Engineer
I am recruiting a couple of Maintenance Engineers to join the site maintenance team at our Trafford Park manufacturing facility. This is a hands-on role supporting a busy heavy industrial environment, where your ability to diagnose faults quickly, restore production, and drive reliability will be key. While the role is primarily electrical, you’ll also be expected to confidently support mechanical-based maintenance activities alongside the wider engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing responsive breakdown support to keep production running safely and efficiently
- Carrying out electrical fault finding, repair, and diagnostic work on production machinery
- Completing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules and documenting work completed
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to increase equipment reliability and uptime
- Working safely in line with site Health and Safety regulations
37-hour working week with 3-shift rotation. Regular overtime opportunities. Stable employment within an established industrial manufacturing operation. Supportive engineering team environment with opportunities for development.
