Working in a fast-paced manufacturing facility, you will enjoy a varied workload where no two days are the same.

You will be responsible for a mix of reactive maintenance, planned preventative maintenance and high-impact improvement projects. This role is perfect for a solution-focused engineer who takes pride in maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency within a modern production setting. Offering a salary of up to £45,000 and working a Monday- Friday double days shift pattern.

The role of a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer includes:

  • Responding rapidly to mechanical and electrical breakdowns to minimise production downtime.
  • Executing a robust PPM schedule across all production and packaging systems.
  • Maintaining vital site utilities, including HVAC, refrigeration and compressed air systems.
  • Supporting the installation and commissioning of new machinery as part of ongoing site investment.
  • Utilising CMMS to record all maintenance activities, ensuring full traceability and compliance.
  • Driving continuous improvement by identifying ways to increase machine reliability and efficiency.
  • Upholding food safety and hygiene standards at all times.

Experience and Qualifications needed for this Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer role:

  • Level 3 Engineering qualification (Essential).
  • Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Engineer within an FMCG or food manufacturing environment.
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with PLC systems is desirable.
  • A safety-first mindset with a solid understanding of LOTO and UK H.
