Multi Trades Recruitment is looking for a Maintenance Engineer to begin work for a well-established company in the Wretham, Norfolk area.
About the role:
- Working Hours - 40 hours per week
- 3-week rolling shift rota
- Working across three shifts within a 24/7 manufacturing environment
- 30-minute break
- Pay Rate - £24.14
- Hands-on maintenance of production plant and equipment
- Planned Preventative Maintenance
- Mechanical fault finding and breakdown repairs
- Maintenance of hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
- Fault finding and repair of low-voltage electrical equipment
- Maintenance of conveying systems and process mixers
- Managing plant spares and supporting suppliers/contractors
- Reviewing and improving maintenance schedules
- Working to reduce plant downtime
- Supporting production staff with routine maintenance tasks
- Flexibility required around breakdowns and call-outs
- Long-term work for the right candidate
- Start: ASAP
About You:
- Apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years' maintenance experience
- Strong mechanical fault-finding experience
- Experienced with mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
- Low-voltage electrical fault-finding experience
- Experience with bulk-material conveying systems/process mixers desirable
- Able to work independently and use your own initiative
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Flexible approach to working within a 24/7 production environment
- Manufacturing, process, waste or heavy industrial experience advantageous
- FLT / mobile plant certificates advantageous
- Must be willing to comply with drug and alcohol testing requirements
