Responsibilities

  • Carry out corrective maintenance, part replacement and adjustments to maintain precision and repeatability.
  • Monitor machine performance, patterns and breakdown trends to minimise downtime.
  • Support with process projects, machine upgrades and tooling improvements.
  • Work closely with production to identify root causes of recurring issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, service logs and track spare parts.
  • Manage contractors on site and ensure that RAM’s are in place.
  • Carry out weekly fire alarm checks.

Desired Experience

  • Experience of working within a precision engineering, machining or similar manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with CNC machinery.
  • Experience in TPM, lean manufacturing or continuous improvement activities.
