Following continued investment and growth, they are seeking a Systems Engineer to help bring together Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Software Engineering and Physics across their product range.
Working closely with the Engineering Manager, the Systems Engineer will help turn customer requirements into working systems, coordinating technical activity from initial specifications through integration, testing and installation. What you'll be doing:
- Defining system requirements, architectures and interfaces across mechanical, electronic, software and physics disciplines.
- Coordinating systems integration, verification and validation, including factory and site acceptance testing.
- Resolving system-level issues and managing technical risks, changes and documentation.
- Working with engineering, production and installation teams to ensure systems perform as intended.
What we're looking for:
You’ll have experience within a multidisciplinary engineering environment, a strong understanding of systems engineering principles and practical experience solving integration challenges. You’ll be comfortable working across teams and understanding how hardware, software and physical systems interact.
A degree in Engineering, Physics, Systems Engineering or a related discipline is required. Experience in scientific instrumentation, precision engineering or other complex engineered products would be particularly relevant
