About the Role: Are you ready to lead and inspire a team of talented engineers? Join our Capital Programme team as a Design Manager and play a pivotal role in managing the design development for our projects. You will work with diverse teams to deliver industry-leading solutions, ensuring high-quality designs that comply with relevant legislation and standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage design teams, including Senior Design Engineers, Design Engineers, Technicians, and Contractors.
  • Oversee the delivery of designs across various projects, from feasibility to commissioning.
  • Provide technical leadership and ensure designs meet technical requirements and safety standards.
  • Manage team budgets and report on performance to Senior Management.
  • Drive technological advancements and optimize design solutions.

Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

  • Degree level or equivalent in engineering or science.
  • Experience in design management and leading design development.
  • Knowledge of power system studies, protection systems, and relevant design standards.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and report writing.
