Thrive Group is working with our client in Westbury who are actively looking to recruit a Machine Operator to join the team on a permanent basis.
Responsibilities
- Operate, maintain and run machinery to ensure production is maintained.
- Achieve daily production requirements in terms of quality and quantity to meet targets and maintain operational standards.
- Perform quality control, checking and documentation tasks.
Qualifications
- Production and / or mechanical skills (professional or personal).
- Previous machinery experience.
- Ability to work to tight tolerances.
- Capability to work all three shifts (including nights) with shift rotation for mornings, nights and afternoons.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work to high standards.
- Capacity to work in a fast‑paced environment and perform some heavy lifting.
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to contribute to the smooth running of daily operations.
Benefits
- Salary: £27,900 per annum plus overtime.
- 37.5 hours per week – no weekend – all breaks paid.
- Shift system: mornings (6am‑2pm, 6am‑11:30am on Friday), nights (2pm‑10pm, 11:30am‑5pm on Friday), and afternoons (10pm‑6am, 5pm‑10:30pm on Friday).
