THE ROLE

Your daily duties will include but will not be limited to:

  • Develop detailed lighting layouts for both internal and external applications using Relux software.
  • Produce accurate, compliant lighting plans, ensuring all designs meet current building regulations while maintaining high service standards.
  • Collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to explore ideas, develop concepts, and propose effective solutions.
  • Oversee and deliver lighting design projects from initial concept to completion, producing polished presentations based on client requirements.
  • Contribute to team discussions, sharing ideas and supporting the successful execution of projects.
  • Work alongside Technical team and wider teams to ensure all designs meet regulatory and compliance standards.

THE CANDIDATE

We are looking for a motivated individual who is keen to develop with a growing business. Our ideal candidate must have:

  • Previous experience working as a Lighting Design Engineer, preferably a minimum of 2 years.
  • Experience using lighting design software Relux.
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of lighting fundamentals & specifications.
  • Organisational and numerical skills to manage projects & budgets.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with close attention to detail.

Hours of work: Monday to Thursday 8.00am – 5.00pm; Friday 8.00am – 3.00pm, hybrid working available.
