We are looking to recruit an experienced Site Manager to join our Planned Maintenance Division, supporting the delivery of the Notting Hill Cyclical External Programme. Based from our Head Office in Ladbroke Grove, West London, the role will involve regular travel to sites across London to support the successful delivery of planned maintenance works within residential properties and associated environments.
As Site Manager, you will provide day-to-day supervision of planned maintenance works, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard. You will play a key role in coordinating operatives and subcontractors, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring compliance with health, safety and contractual requirements throughout project delivery.
What You’ll Deliver
- Lead the day-to-day supervision of operatives and subcontractors, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to agreed standards.
- Manage planned maintenance works across residential properties, voids and associated environments in line with specifications and contractual requirements.
- Act as the primary on-site contact for customers, maintaining strong communication and delivering a positive customer experience.
- Monitor programme delivery, identifying risks, delays or issues and taking appropriate action to maintain productivity and project timescales.
- Carry out regular quality inspections, ensuring works are completed to a high standard and defects are addressed promptly.
- Ensure full compliance with health & safety legislation, CDM regulations and company policies, including delivery of toolbox talks and site inductions.
- Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers, monitoring performance, quality and compliance against work orders and KPIs.
- Maintain accurate site records, documentation, variation sheets and digital reporting in line with company procedures.
- Attend operational and client meetings, providing clear updates on project progress, risks and performance.
- Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, continuous improvement and professional conduct across all site activities.
About You
- Previous supervisory or site management experience within planned maintenance, housing maintenance or refurbishment environments.
- Strong understanding of health & safety legislation and CDM regulations.
- SMSTS, Scaffold Inspection, Asbestos Awareness or other relevant health & safety qualifications desirable.
- Strong communication and customer-facing skills with the ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders.
- Experience managing subcontractors, operatives and multiple site activities simultaneously.
- Ability to prioritise workloads, work under pressure and manage changing operational demands.
- Confident using Microsoft Office and digital reporting or job management systems.
- Strong organisational, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Full UK driving licence required.
- Enhanced DBS required or willingness to complete the process.
