Service & Maintenance Engineer Role & Responsibilities
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance, reactive service calls and remedial works on a range of fire and security systems
- Servicing and maintaining CCTV, access control, fire alarm and integrated electronic security systems
- Completing small works, repairs and system upgrades across residential and commercial properties
- Ensuring all works are completed in line with British Standards, health & safety regulations and industry best practice
- Working collaboratively with colleagues while also being capable of working independently in the field
Service & Maintenance Engineer Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience working within the Fire & Security industry (5 years minimum)
- Strong working knowledge of fire alarm systems, CCTV and access control systems
- Previous experience carrying out preventative maintenance and fault‑finding on electronic security systems
- Relevant industry qualifications such as NSI, LPCB, City & Guilds or equivalent would be advantageous
- Experience with Entrotec systems would be highly beneficial
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively
- Full UK Driving Licence (Essential)
- Must be able to pass DBS/security screening checks
