Role Overview
As Senior Technical Services Manager, you will lead the MEP strategy across major projects, while also supporting work‑winning efforts, including technical input into bids, tenders, and client interviews. You will be the go‑to authority for MEP integration across the design, delivery, and commissioning phases, while actively shaping the company’s reputation in competitive pitches.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Public Health) elements on high‑value fit out schemes
- Provide expert technical input into tenders, bids, and pre‑construction submissions
- Attend client interviews to present MEP strategies and demonstrate capability
- Work closely with estimators, planners, and design teams to ensure robust technical solutions in tenders
- Oversee design coordination, installation, and commissioning through to client handover
- Ensure all services are delivered in line with compliance, quality, and programme expectations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and supply chain partners
- Mentor and develop junior technical services staff within the business
What we are looking for
- Demonstrable experience as a Senior or Lead Technical Services Manager in commercial fit out
- Strong understanding of MEP coordination, systems, and delivery from Stage 2 onwards
- Proven ability to contribute to and present in work‑winning scenarios
- Deep knowledge of the London commercial fit out market, with a focus on Cat A and Cat B schemes
- Excellent interpersonal skills and confident presenting technical information to senior stakeholders
