We’re working with a market‑leading Fit Out & Refurbishment specialist that has taken the industry by storm since COVID – doubling turnover to £120m in just a few years. Off the back of this rapid growth, they’ve attracted some of the sector’s top talent and are now looking to add a Senior Estimator to their high‑performing commercial team. This is a standout opportunity to work on major cut & carve refurbishment and cat a/b fit out tenders (£20m+), with a clear path to leadership and the chance to build and run your own division as the business continues to scale.
The Role
- Lead the preparation of detailed and competitive tenders for large-scale commercial projects (£20m+)
- Take ownership of the full estimating process from initial enquiry through to submission
- Work closely with pre‑construction, design, and commercial teams
- Analyse drawings, specifications, and project requirements to develop accurate cost plans
- Manage subcontractor enquiries, pricing, and negotiations
- Identify value engineering opportunities and commercial risks
- Present and support bids with senior stakeholders and clients
- Report to the Preconstruction Director
About You
- Proven experience as a Senior Estimator within the fit‑out and/or refurbishment sector
- Strong track record delivering large-scale commercial tenders (£10m+ ideally, £20m+)
- Excellent knowledge of construction methods, materials, and market rates
- Commercially astute with strong analytical and negotiation skills
- Confident communicator, comfortable working with senior stakeholders
- Ambitious and motivated by progression opportunities
