A privately owned consultancy based in London (Waterloo) is seeking a Quantity Surveyor / Project Manager to join their close-knit team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor / Project Manager to take on a broad, client-facing role across a range of projects.
Responsibilities
- Manage cost and project delivery across multiple schemes.
- Lead procurement processes, appoint main contractors and design teams, and take ownership of tender documentation and evaluation.
- Chair client and design team meetings to ensure projects stay on programme and budget.
- Administer contracts with a strong focus on JCT, acting as Employer’s Agent / Contract Administrator when required.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of UK experience within a consultancy or client-side environment.
- Experience running tender processes and procuring both contractors and consultants.
- Strong working knowledge of JCT contracts.
- Relevant degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a similar field (RICS accreditation not required).
- Proactive, adaptable, and confident in leading meetings and driving projects forward.
Benefits
- £65,000 - £80,000 salary (depending on experience) or £375 - £425 per day for temporary contracts.
