About the Role
An established and growing M&E contractor is seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join their team delivering high‑profile commercial projects across Central London. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual with strong technical knowledge and project delivery experience to manage mechanical packages from pre‑construction through to handover on fast‑paced and prestigious developments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage mechanical projects from inception to completion
- Oversee programme delivery, budgets, procurement and resource allocation
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site teams to ensure works are delivered safely, on time and to specification
- Attend client, design and progress meetings
- Review drawings, technical specifications and project documentation
- Monitor project performance and report on progress, risks and costs
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company procedures
- Liaise closely with commercial and design teams throughout the project lifecycle
- Support commissioning, snagging and final handover processes
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager within the construction or M&E sector
- Experience delivering commercial projects in London
- Strong understanding of mechanical building services systems
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines effectively
- SMSTS, CSCS and relevant industry qualifications
