The Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Fire & Security Installation Engineer to join a well established and highly respected fire and security company operating across London. The business has built a strong reputation for delivering high quality installations across commercial, corporate, and high end residential environments, and continues to grow due to consistent project wins and long term client relationships. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer who enjoys installation work and wants to be part of a professional team delivering well organised projects using quality equipment and systems.
The role will involve installing a variety of fire and security systems across a wide range of sites throughout London. The role will involve full system installations from first fix through to final commissioning and handover, ensuring projects are completed to the highest standards. You will work closely with project managers, site teams and other engineers to ensure installations are delivered efficiently and in line with project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation of fire alarm systems including both addressable and conventional systems
- Installation of CCTV, intruder alarms and access control systems
- Working from technical drawings, specifications and project documentation
- Commissioning and testing systems to ensure full functionality and compliance
- Ensuring all installations meet current industry standards and regulations
- Liaising with project managers, engineers and site contacts during installations
- Completing installation documentation and system handovers
What We Are Looking For
- Proven experience installing fire and security systems
- Strong knowledge of fire alarms, CCTV, intruder alarms and access control systems
- Ability to read and work from technical drawings and system designs
- A professional and reliable approach to work
- Good problem solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence
