We are looking for an Engineering Lead to join the team of an established company in London. This role is offering a 6 month fixed term contract and the opportunity to lead a successful engineering team across a large estate.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading and managing a multi-skilled Hard FM team, including Supervisors and Engineers
  • Overseeing planned and reactive maintenance across all M&E systems to ensure compliance and service delivery targets are met
  • Ensuring statutory compliance, audit readiness, and adherence to Safe Systems of Work and Permit to Work procedures
  • Managing subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring works are completed safely and to a high standard
  • Monitoring service performance, producing reports, and identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Coordinating labour, resources, and materials to ensure efficient delivery of maintenance activities
  • Building strong relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and internal teams across the university estate

Qualifications:

  • Level 3 qualification or above in a recognised engineering discipline
  • A recognised trade background in electrical, mechanical, or plumbing engineering
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience within a TFM or IFM environment
  • Strong knowledge of hard services and associated regulations
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
