The Role

We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Shift Engineer to join a leading Facilities Management provider on a prestigious critical banking contract based in Canary Wharf. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified electrical engineer looking to develop their career within a critical environment, working as part of a highly skilled engineering team responsible for maintaining essential building services and ensuring operational resilience across a high‑profile client site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on electrical and building services systems
  • Operate within a critical environment, ensuring maximum uptime and reliability
  • Fault find and repair on electrical systems and associated plant
  • Complete and manage permits to work, logbooks, and compliance documentation
  • Support subcontractors and specialist service providers on site
  • Monitor plant performance and respond to building management system (BMS) alarms
  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with Health & Safety regulations and site procedures
