The Role

  • Responsible for all electrical aspects of projects.
  • Overseeing 2-3 projects at one time which generally consists of a Site Supervisor/Manager and subcontract labour.
  • Commercial electrical projects up to the value of £3m - Mainly office fit outs.
  • Responsible for effective relationship management with clients & working partners to achieve smooth operational and commercial progression of projects.
  • Making sure health, safety & welfare is maintained and adhered to at project/site level.
  • Managing projects from contract signature stage, through all phases until handover to the end user.
  • Attend on site meetings, as and when required.
  • Responsible for handover to clients and after care.
  • Site based role.
  • Reporting to the Managing Director.

  • 16 years experience delivering electrical projects in London and surrounding areas.
  • Office based in Brighton - Projects based in London.
  • Currently at around 10 employees + subcontractors.
  • This company is currently at around £6m turnover per annum.
  • This hire is due to the company growth. Winning more and more work.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Will have 5+ years experience working as an Electrical Project Manager.
  • Will have worked on commercial projects for tier 1 contractors.
  • Will have previous experience working with commercial projects up to the value of £5m.
  • Will hold a Black CSCS Managers Card. SSSTS/SMSTS advantageous.
  • Will work well under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Will have excellent communication skills.
  • Will be willing to work in London.
