Contracts Manager – Location: Site-based across London & South East | Type: Permanent | Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 + Car allowance

Our client is a growing principal contractor delivering retail, commercial and hospitality fit-out projects across the UK. They are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee multiple projects and drive successful delivery with autonomy and direct engagement with blue‑chip clients.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple fit-out projects from start to finish (typical project values £500k–£2m).
  • Lead site teams and project teams to deliver quality results.
  • Monitor programmes, budgets and overall project performance.
  • Collaborate with the commercial team on costs, variations and contracts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
  • Ensure high standards of health & safety and compliance across all sites.

About You

  • Experience as a Contracts Manager (or a Senior Site/Project Manager ready to step up) with a main contractor.
  • Background delivering retail, commercial or hospitality fit-out projects.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership, organisational and client management skills.
  • SMSTS, CSCS and a full UK driving licence.
  • Experience with Procore or Microsoft Project is advantageous.
