A well-established specialist contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Cleaning Contracts Manager to oversee construction cleaning projects across London. This role will focus on new build residential construction cleaning, including builders cleans, sparkle cleans, handover cleans, show home cleans and final cleaning works. Projects typically range between £300k - £500k, with responsibility for overseeing supervisors, cleaning teams, programme delivery, quality standards and client relationships across multiple live sites. The role would suit someone with strong experience managing construction cleaning contracts on residential developments, apartment schemes or new build housing projects.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee construction cleaning projects across London valued between £300k - £500k
  • Manage multiple live projects from pre-start through to completion and handover
  • Oversee cleaning supervisors and site cleaning teams across all projects
  • Ensure builders cleans, sparkle cleans, handover cleans, final cleans and show home cleans are delivered to a high standard
  • Liaise with main contractors, site teams, clients and internal management
  • Attend client meetings, site meetings and progress reviews
  • Monitor programme, labour, quality, health & safety and site performance
  • Allocate supervisors, operatives, materials and equipment across projects
  • Carry out site inspections and support supervisors with operational issues
  • Ensure works are completed on time, within budget and in line with client expectations
  • Manage snagging, handover requirements and final quality checks
  • Support recruitment, onboarding and development of supervisors and cleaning operatives
  • Ensure RAMS, site paperwork and compliance documentation are maintained
  • Deal with variations, site changes and day-to-day project challenges

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Contracts Manager within construction cleaning
  • Strong experience delivering new build residential cleaning projects
  • Knowledge of builders cleans, sparkle cleans, handover cleans, final cleans and show home cleans
  • Experience managing supervisors and cleaning operatives across multiple sites
  • Strong client-facing skills with main contractor experience
  • Ability to manage programme, labour, quality and commercial performance
  • Good understanding of site health & safety and construction site procedures
  • Strong organisation, communication and leadership ability
  • CSCS Card
  • SMSTS or SSSTS
  • Full UK Driving Licence
