The role of the Logistics Coordinator – Facades will involve:
Responsibilities
- Logistics Coordinator position dealing with logistics and warehouse operations for the supply of a range of construction products and accessories
- Working with a variety of internal teams such as manufacturing, management, warehousing and other logistic staff.
- Effectively manage and oversee the transport, warehouse and yard operations
- Organising transport with couriers, hauliers and third-party providers
- Printed, collection notes returned to Transport and then passed to Accounts
- Develop and implement strategies to optimise transportation processes and reduce costs
Qualifications
- Must have Logistics or related background such as dispatching, transports, warehouses etc
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Confidence emailing and calling different stakeholders
- IT literate (Microsoft Office)
- Organised, dynamic and self-motivated
