Are you an experienced Electrical Supervisor? You will be supporting ongoing projects within the water and wastewater sector across United Utilities patch. You will play a key role in mentoring and training electricians, supporting design development, and overseeing installation works to ensure safe and compliant delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise electrical installation works on water and wastewater sites
- Provide technical guidance and on-site leadership to electricians and apprentices
- Deliver on-the-job training and mentoring to electrical teams
- Assist with electrical design reviews and provide practical installation input
- Support project managers in planning and coordinating site activities
- Ensure all works are carried out in line with industry regulations and site standards
- Maintain high standards of health & safety compliance
- Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks, and quality checks
- Step in to undertake installation work where required
Requirements:
- Proven experience supervising electrical works within the water sector (water/wastewater treatment works experience highly desirable)
- Strong knowledge of industrial electrical installations
- Experience mentoring or training electricians
- Ability to interpret and contribute to electrical design drawings
- ECS/CSCS card
- 18th Edition (BS7671)
- SSSTS or SMSTS
- Full UK driving licence
