Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical / Electrical)
Our Client are a FMCG manufacturing company. Following a decade of ongoing investment and development they are looking for a Shift Maintenance Engineer (80% Mechanical & 20 %Electrical) to join their team to perform ongoing maintenance planning in the production plant.
Hours
0500 – 1700/1700 – 0500, alternating 3 on/3 off
Salary
- £56,500 per annum (inclusive of shift allowance)
- Overtime 1.5x rate (27.96 Days & £31.69 Nights) Sunday & BH 2.0x rate (£37.28 Days & £41.01 Nights)
- Realistic on target earnings including overtime +- £60 000-£70 000 p/annum
- Further development opportunities with higher salary once at the Specialist level
Duties
- Planned preventative maintenance on machines
- Reactionary maintenance on machines
- Working with food production and packing machines
- Daily reports to management
- Daily handovers with other Engineers
- Working within a team to maintain line efficiency
Experience
- General manufacturing experience required
- Experience in FMCG environments
- Experience in Food manufacturing
- Conveyer belt and Injection plastics environments highly advantageous
- High work ethic required
