We are recruiting hybrid working Nurses, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Paramedics to use existing clinical knowledge in a supportive, locally owned assessment provider. As a WCA Assessor you will provide unbiased, comprehensive Work Capability Assessments while ensuring a personalised, inclusive and empathetic service for the service user.
Responsibilities
- Conduct 5-6 assessments per day including telephone/face-to-face assessment and word report.
- Manage cases throughout the day, allowing greater job autonomy to manage cases to conclusion.
- Assess a full range of health conditions and disabilities affecting the claimant, including physical, sensory, mental, intellectual and cognitive impairments.
- Have time built into your working rota for breaks, CPD, audit amendments, requesting and reviewing additional evidence and team meetings.
Requirements
- Qualified Nurse, Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist or Paramedic.
- 2+ years post-qualification experience.
- Valid registration on NMC or HCPC without restrictions.
- Excellent communication skills and strong IT literacy.
Benefits
- Basic salary £45,500.
- 10% performance bonus.
- Hybrid working: approx. 2-3 days in clinic per week.
- Full time. Working hours: Monday – Friday, 9-5pm (37.5 hours per week).
- Training: full time, 6 weeks.
- 25 days holidays per annum.
