Key Responsibilities
- Lead the safe and successful delivery of assigned electrical engineering projects.
- Manage projects throughout the full project lifecycle from planning to commissioning.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to achieve project objectives.
- Ensure delivery against scope, programme, cost and quality requirements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders.
- Monitor project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Prepare project reports, business cases and funding documentation.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards.
- Support commercial, procurement and contract management activities.
- Travel occasionally to other UK nuclear sites as required.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
- Electrical engineering background with project delivery experience.
- APMP qualification or equivalent project management experience.
- Experience delivering projects within highly regulated environments.
- Strong understanding of engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning.
- Knowledge of Safety Cases, CDM and health and safety legislation.
- Commercial awareness including estimating, planning and cost control.
- Excellent communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and project planning/risk management tools.
- Nuclear or power station experience is desirable but not essential.
