The role
- Receive, inspect, and put away stock
- Supply materials to the shop floor: aluminium, stainless, and mild steel Sheets
- Maintain and update inventory records accurately
- Complete stock checks and cycle counts
- Investigate stock discrepancies
- Identify, label and store offcuts
- Communicate with all departments effectively
What we are looking for
- Experienced Material Handler
- FLT Licence
- Experience working within an engineering company
- Experience in handling large/heavy sheet metal, including stainless steel
- Experienced using an ERP system
- Ability to read and work from basic engineering drawings
- Previously conducted stock checks and cycle counts
- Ability to investigate stock discrepancies
- Good attention to detail
- Reliable with a positive attitude and strong teamwork
