About the role:
Due to investment, this is a fantastic opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to join their compact but mighty team as they continue to grow and expand their lines. The successful Maintenance Engineer will have the opportunity to grow into leadership positions further down the line.
Responsibilities:
- Planned and reactive maintenance, installation and commissioning of new machinery and lines and project work including process improvements
- Fault-finding on both the electrical and mechanical components; no PLC programming required but ability to check I/O’s would be hugely beneficial
- Replacing components including sensors, relays, contactors, bearings, belts and chains
About you:
- Experience in a multi‑skilled environment, being able to work with electrical and mechanical equipment
- Previous experience working within an FMCG/Manufacturing environment is imperative for this role
- Due to the nature of the work, you should be happy to work to food safety as well as health and safety requirements
- Applicants must be comfortable working within a chilled environment (all relevant PPE will be provided)
- Educated to a minimum of a Level 3
