We are seeking a skilled electrically biased Field Service Engineer to join our growing engineering team, covering customer sites across the Midlands area. This role is ideal for an electrical engineer with a strong industrial background, particularly within environments such as print, paper, food, plastics, pharmaceutical, injection moulding, or similar manufacturing sectors. Experience in distribution or recycling is highly desirable, though strong engineers from other regulated or industrial environments are encouraged to apply.
The role will require you to travel to customer sites across the Midlands area carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance on an array of automated machinery. The base salary is for your core hours but the nature of the role will require you to work overtime on a regular basis as the company ethos is set around your day is done when your work is done. With this in mind, your realistic OTE will be around £70k, and all travel and expenses are also paid for. This is a high-level role within an extremely reputable company that can offer unlimited progression through several different department routes.

- Electrical maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Electrical fault-finding experience.
- Engineering qualification (Electrical).
- Experience working within a manufacturing environment.
Requirements for the Field Service Engineer:
- Previous experience working as a Maintenance or Service Engineer in the UK.
- Experience with working on PLCs, ideally being able to fault find using inputs and outputs.
- Be very strong electrically.
