Experienced Senior Architect to join a well-established multidisciplinary property consultancy based in Leeds. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the design and delivery of a diverse portfolio of projects across the public and private sectors, taking schemes from concept through to completion. You'll work closely with clients, consultants and multidisciplinary teams, leading projects, mentoring colleagues and helping to secure future business opportunities. This role is ideal for an ambitious architect who enjoys taking ownership, building strong client relationships and delivering high-quality, sustainable architecture.

About the Role

Based in a modern Leeds city centre studio with the option to work from home multiple times per week, you'll be part of a collaborative team delivering projects that have a genuine impact on communities across the UK. The practice works across a broad range of sectors including:

Current projects include major sports hub developments, local authority asset programmes, Design & Build schemes with Tier 1 contractors and a variety of regeneration projects. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead architectural projects through all RIBA Plan of Work stages.
  • Act as Lead Designer and project lead where required.
  • Produce high-quality design solutions that exceed client expectations.
  • Manage project programmes, budgets and resources effectively.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Provide expert architectural and technical advice.
  • Identify and support new business opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, health & safety requirements and industry standards.
  • Promote sustainable design principles throughout projects.
  • Mentor and support junior team members.
  • Travel to project sites and other offices when required.

About You

You'll be a motivated and commercially aware Senior level Architect with strong technical knowledge and excellent communication skills. You'll have:

  • ARB registered Architect.
  • RIBA membership.
  • Degree in Architecture or related discipline.
  • Extensive post-qualification experience in a similar role.
  • Experience delivering projects across all RIBA work stages.
  • Strong AutoCAD skills (additional BIM/Revit experience is advantageous).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent knowledge of UK Building Regulations, construction legislation and CDM requirements.
  • Experience providing high-level consultancy and client advice.
  • A CSCS card (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites.
