An established packaging manufacturer in Leeds is looking for an experienced Multi‑Skilled Engineer to join a tight‑knitted maintenance team on a stable, growing site. The role is structured around planned maintenance, reliability improvement and continuous improvement, working across automated processing lines and production equipment.
Scope of Work
- Electrical – motors, drives, sensors, control panels, PLCs
- Mechanical – pneumatics, hydraulics, processing lines
- Systems – PPM schedules, permit to work, safe isolation
- Projects – commissioning, reliability improvement, continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Multi‑skilled maintenance background in a high‑volume manufacturing environment (food, FMCG or similar)
- Strong electrical fault‑finding ability: motors, drives, sensors, control panels
- PLC fault‑finding experience
- Mechanical skills across pneumatics and hydraulics
- NVQ Level 3 or relevant apprenticeship in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (18th Edition desirable)
