We are currently recruiting for an Estimator to join a growing structural steel business. The role is ideal for a commercially aware, customer-focused professional with experience in estimating and working from technical drawings.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the enquiry and tender process, identifying commercially viable schemes
- Prepare detailed and accurate estimates from drawings and specifications
- Liaise with clients and internal teams to ensure smooth tender delivery
- Maintain and grow existing client relationships
- Support the development of new business opportunities
- Work closely with all departments to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and commercially
Requirements
- Proven experience in an estimating role within construction, engineering, or structural steel
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Relevant technical or engineering qualification desirable
- Prior experience with structural steel projects advantageous
