Lead Quantity Surveyor – Power Networks

Sutton Coldfield or Cambridge (Hybrid Working Available)

£55,000-£75,000 + Car Allowance + Pension

What you will be doing

As Lead Quantity Surveyor, you\’ll take ownership of commercial management across multiple power network projects. You\’ll work closely with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to ensure financial control, contract compliance, and successful delivery.

Your responsibilities

  • Oversee all commercial aspects of power network projects from inception to completion
  • Prepare and manage cost plans, valuations, and final accounts
  • Lead contract negotiations and manage subcontractor procurement
  • Monitor project budgets, forecasts, and risk assessments
  • Ensure compliance with NEC and other relevant contract frameworks
  • Provide strategic input to support business growth and profitability

Your requirements

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in utilities, power, or infrastructure sectors
  • Strong knowledge of NEC or FIDIC or JCT contracts and commercial best practices
  • Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills
  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or related discipline or significant commercial experience
  • Full UK driving licence
