About the Role
My client is a global leading provider in facilities management and they are looking for a lead electrical engineer to oversee the maintenance of all building services, for one of their prestigious blue‑chip contracts. As the Site Lead, you’ll be responsible for the day‑to‑day supervision of the site maintenance team, ensuring the smooth operation of Electrical, Mechanical and Fabric services. You’ll play a key role in maintaining compliance with statutory and mandatory standards, driving performance, and delivering exceptional service to our client.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the operation, maintenance, and repair of M&E plant and equipment.
- Manage the CAFM system to monitor performance and service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental standards.
- Supervise specialist contractors and manage minor works.
- Conduct risk assessments, method statements, and work package plans.
- Respond to reactive maintenance and ensure timely completion of PPM tasks.
- Support innovation and continuous improvement across the contract.
Person Specification
- Electrical qualifications from a recognised institution (C&Gs / NVQ).
- Experience working in a similar role.
- Strong supervisory experience with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Proficient in CAFM systems and E-Log Book management.
- Experience in compiling risk assessments and quotations.
- Excellent communication and client‑facing skills.
- Knowledge of water treatment & HVAC.
- Knowledge of M&E services, BMS systems, and statutory compliance.
