As a Laser Systems Engineer, you’ll work across requirements, design, performance analysis, and certification to support the DragonFire programme. This is a hands-on role at the forefront of strategic, defence technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Influence and contribute to the design and development of high‑power laser systems
  • Support requirements analysis, specifications, and system‑level design
  • Communicate complex laser and optics concepts to technical teams and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with partners, customers, and internal teams to deliver high‑quality results
  • Participate in systems proving, design assurance, and certification activities

Essential Experience:

  • PhD or industry experience in laser technology at a system level
