We’re working with a growing engineering business delivering electrical and FM projects across the UK, supporting major retail and commercial clients. Due to continued growth, they’re looking to hire an Electrical Quality Assurance Engineer to join their expanding QA team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced electrician with a strong testing background who’s looking to move off the tools into a more technical, quality-focused role.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out on-site audits of electrical installations
- Reviewing test certificates for compliance (BS7671 / NICEIC)
- Ensuring works meet technical and safety standards
- Supporting engineers with compliance and best practice
- Identifying quality improvements across projects
- Liaising with site teams and internal departments
- Mixture of site visits, home working and occasional office time
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
- 18th Edition
- Inspection & Testing (2391 or equivalent)
- Strong background in commercial/industrial electrical work
- Experience reviewing or signing off certification
- Previous Qualified Supervisor experience (or keen to move into it)
- Confident, communicative and comfortable working independently
