The Role

As an Installation Engineer, you’ll play a key role in delivering complex automation and engineering projects at customer sites across the UK. This role involves regular travel and staying away from home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and install mechanical and electrical equipment
  • Support commissioning and testing activities on‑site
  • Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety and Risk Assessments
  • Communicate professionally with clients and internal teams
  • Complete job sheets, reports and quality documentation
  • Identify and raise quality or system improvements
  • Support field operations including servicing, breakdowns and site cover
What We’re Looking For
  • Time‑served apprenticeship OR City and Guilds / ONC / HNC in Electrical
  • Full, clean UK driving licence
  • Willingness to travel and stay away from home regularly
  • Strong teamwork, attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
  • Desirable (but not essential): Working at Heights certification
  • FLT licence (training can be provided)
