MPI are looking for a Welder/Fabricator, for our client based in Kempston, Bedford.
Monday to Friday 7:00 – 15:30
Ongoing contract. Umbrella rate available.
Our Client
Based in Bedford, our client designs, manufactures and installs a wide range of fluid processing equipment, predominantly for the water industry, including tanks and pipework. They are currently looking for a Fabricator/Welder to work in their workshop.
The Role/Candidate
The successful individual’s primary responsibility will be the fabrication of their products, so previous experience working with stainless steel, cutting, bending, grinding, and assembling using manual machinery is essential. The role will also require you to MIG/TIG weld as and when required, so a proven ability to weld is also essential. No formal codings are required.
The ideal applicant will be able to read technical drawings and be comfortable fabricating, assembling, and welding medium to large scale products independently.
Candidates must have their own welding mask.
