The Role
You will be operating within a project‑based, equipment manufacturing environment. It is key to ensure early procurement engagement, supplier performance, and cost certainty across the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement a procurement strategy aligned with business objectives, project requirements, and growth plans
- Manage supplier and framework agreements to improve cost competitiveness
- Provide early procurement input during tender stages
- Ensure procurement plans are aligned with cash flow requirements and project schedules
- Manage procurement related cost performance, supplier claims, and variations
- Improve capital outcomes through payment term negotiations
- Identify and manage supply chain risks
About you
- Proven experience in procurement and supply chain management within engineering, manufacturing, or OEM equipment environment
- Strong financial acumen with experience negotiating complex supplier agreements
- Proven ability to manage procurement across multiple projects
- Strong communicator
- Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities
- A formal qualification in supply chain, procurement, or engineering is desirable
