This well-established company are building a reputable name within the renewable energy sector, specialising in the design, construction and operations of commercial and industrial solar PV, EV and battery storage projects across the UK. With ambitious plans to scale up and expand into larger, more exciting ventures, they are now seeking an ambitious Project Engineer / Manager to join their passionate team to fuel future success.
In this role, you will support and work closely with the Project Manager to deliver large-scale solar projects from cradle to grave. Your involvement will span the full project lifecycle, including installation, commissioning, and overseeing day-to-day site operations. You will also be responsible for project administration and ensuring site activities are managed efficiently, safely, and in line with project requirements.

The Role:
- Drive the delivery of commercial and industrial scale Solar PV, EV and Battery systems from enquiry through to completion.
- Manage H&S and CDM on site ensuring regulations are adhered to.
- Organise workforce, materials and equipment on site.
- Act as the go-to contact throughout projects, maintaining strong relationships with clients, suppliers and the installation team.
- Majority of work is in the North East / North and East of England and North - some will be further afield.
- 50% Office / 50% Site Based.
The Person:
- Junior Site Manager / Project Support Engineer.
- Experience working within commercial and/or industrial environments.
- SSSTS / SMSTS or project management qualification.
- Experience working within the solar PV sector is highly advantageous.
