We are recruiting a Quality Engineer for a growing engineering and manufacturing business. This is an excellent opportunity for a Junior Quality Engineer, Quality Coordinator or Quality Technician who wants to develop their career into quality management. Training and further development will be provided, including internal auditor training where required.
The Quality Engineer will help maintain the company’s quality, environmental and health and safety management systems.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
- Helping maintain the Quality Management System and QMS documentation
- Writing and updating procedures
- Supporting internal audits
- Working alongside external auditors
- Supporting supplier quality and manufacturing quality
- Helping investigate quality issues and implement improvements
- Ensuring procedures and processes are followed
- Communicating with employees across the business
The successful Quality Engineer will ideally have some experience within quality, engineering or manufacturing. Experience as a Junior Quality Engineer, Quality Coordinator, Quality Technician, QMS Coordinator or Internal Auditor would be useful. Internal audit experience would be beneficial but is not essential, as training can be provided.
