Salary: £57,000 (including shift allowance). OTE: approximately £60,000, including bonus and overtime.

Location: Ibstock, United Kingdom. 4‑shift and 5‑shift days and nights available.

Job Summary

In this role you will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of highly automated industrial equipment in a brand‑new factory, including large capital‑intensive machinery, conveyors, presses and robotics. You will support a team‑based maintenance culture, balance reactive and preventive tasks, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the smooth running of all on‑site machinery
  • Attend to equipment breakdowns and perform reactive maintenance tasks
  • Conduct maintenance on a variety of equipment, including 3‑phase machinery and electrical components
  • Balance reactive and planned preventive maintenance (PPM) schedules
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement culture and take ownership of individual projects as career progresses

Candidate Requirements

  • Hold a relevant engineering qualification at Level 3 or above
  • Strong team player with a positive attitude
  • Willingness to work in a large maintenance team and in a high‑automation setting
