The HSE Manager will join a friendly and supportive team and work closely with site leadership and engineering teams to ensure safe working practices, maintain robust management systems and drive continuous HSE improvement across multiple locations.

The Role
The HSE Manager will take ownership of the company’s health, safety and environmental systems, ensuring compliance with legislation and maintaining ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards. The role involves frequent site visits, supporting managers with risk management, investigating incidents and helping teams embed safe working practices. Operating as the sole HSE professional within the business, you will take a hands-on approach, providing day-to-day support on site while combining this with a highly compliance-driven mindset. You will be responsible for developing and strengthening systems to a highly robust standard, ensuring the business is fully prepared for and successfully passes external ISO audits. You will also oversee facilities compliance, contractor management and emergency preparedness while reporting on HSE performance and identifying opportunities for improvement.
