An opportunity has arisen for a Highway Inspector to join a busy client in Cambridgeshire. This is a full-time contract position for a duration of 3 months, with an extension likely. The rate on offer is £250 per day, negotiable for the right candidate.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • To oversee and manage highway maintenance works to ensure that the highway network is managed and maintained to a safe standard for the benefit of our communities.
  • To implement reactive, preventative, and cyclical maintenance schemes, contributing to the effective management of the highway network, inclusive of footways, cycle routes, carriageways, and public rights of way.
  • To work closely with local communities to ensure that the highway standards are maintained to align with local aspirations and needs, and by keeping communities and customers informed of our works, contributing to achieving a high level of customer satisfaction.
