Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 per annum
Hours: Weekly rotating shift pattern 06:00 – 14:00 and 14:00 – 22:00, full-time permanent contract, immediate start available for the right candidate.
Are you a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with strong electrical and mechanical experience? We are recruiting on behalf of a rapidly growing manufacturing business in Hereford. This is a hands-on role within a busy industrial environment, supporting site operations through reactive and planned maintenance on extrusion and moulding machinery.
The Role
- Maintain and repair extrusion and moulding equipment to ensure minimal downtime
- Provide reactive breakdown support across the site
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Diagnose and repair faults on electrical and mechanical systems
- Support operational teams to maintain output and efficiency
- Ensure health & safety standards are met at all times
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Candidate Requirements
- Multi-skilled engineer with both electrical and mechanical experience
- Previous experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Experience working on extrusion and/or moulding machinery (highly desirable)
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Able to work effectively within a fast-paced production setting
- Comfortable working in an engineering environment that can be dirty
- Relevant engineering qualifications
- Ability to hit the ground running (training will still be provided)
