Role Overview
- Managing the commercial delivery of residential construction projects.
- Producing CVRs, forecasts and monthly reporting.
- Procuring subcontractors and managing packages.
- Managing valuations, variations and final accounts.
- Monitoring project costs and profitability.
- Supporting procurement and supply chain management.
- Working closely with operational and delivery teams.
- Visiting projects regularly while balancing office and home working.
- Supporting the Commercial Manager across multiple live schemes.
About You
- Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a main contractor environment.
- Residential, affordable housing or partnerships experience.
- Strong commercial awareness and contract knowledge.
- Experience managing subcontract procurement and commercial reporting.
- Ambitious and motivated to progress toward Senior QS level.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Located within commuting distance of Hemel Hempstead.
